Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA): 1st Rottweiler to earn ASCA Working Trial Champion (WTCH) and 1st Rottweiler to earn ASCA Advanced Trial Dog sheep/ducks/cattle (ATDs/d/c).
American Herding Breeds Association (AHBA): 1st Rottweiler to earn AHBA Herding Trial Champion. 1st Rottweiler to earn Herding Trial Dog Level 3 (HTDIII) and Herding Ranch Dog Level 3 (HRDIII).
Canadian Kennel Club (CKC): 1st Rottweiler to earn CKC Herding Excellent title. CKC does not currently have a herding championship program.
American Temperament Test Society: Earned title Temperament Tested (TT).
International All Breed Canine Association of America (IABCA): Earned title of International Champion (Intl Ch).
5th individual (any/all breeds) to earn triple championships in herding
Maverick retired from competitive herding with 30 High In Trial wins. He continued to set stock for other competitors until his death in 2004 at 10 years of age.
