Barbara Davenport
Barbara has been training dogs for over 30 years. In 1975, she joined the Army where she handled and trained patrol and narcotic dogs. Upon her return to civilian life, she was recruited to start a canine program for the Washington State Department of Corrections. Barbara is the Department’s Canine Program Manager and full time canine trainer specializing in narcotic dogs.
Steve Weigley
Steve has 20 years experience training and handling patrol, narcotic and explosives dogs for the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department. He served as his department’s Master Trainer for over 11 years. Steve is currently working in Iraq training handlers and explosive detection dogs for their police force.
